How close is Cottage on Kiawah to the beach? We are not on the beach. Cottage on Kiawah is a very private Greenslake Cottage overlooking the hole on Cougar Point Golf Course. It is located conveniently in West Beach Village.
Cottage on Kiawah is a short 10 minute walk and even shorter bike ride to the beach. To help illustrate how easy it is to get to the beach, we have 3 small children 1 to 6 years old. With all our gear, including stroller, it takes us about 7 minutes to walk to the beach and 10 minutes to walk home (The time difference is due to the energy level of our kids). We rarely walk home from the beach without a stop at our community pool.
Can I use the Kiawah Island Resort Amenities? Yes. You will have access to all the golf, tennis, spa, restaurants, kids camp, etc that Kiawah Island Resort offers. Guests of Kiawah Island Resort have priority access to reservations (but they pay a lot more in rent too!) The only things you will not have access to are the pools at the Sanctuary and Night Heron Park.

Do you supply linens? Yes. We provide all linens, but ask you to bring your own beach towels. We have tried to stock Cottage on Kiawah with as much as we can to make your vacation enjoyable. For example, our fully stocked kitchen includes a few cookbooks and spices. We provide a complete list of the supplies during the reservation process.
